"I saw a post from you I'm not quite sure who you are but it referenced a comment that I made on Facebook regarding judge plumber. Due to said post I was involved in a hit and run while I was taking a walk and left on the side of the road luckily I walked home. If you really want to something to report the officer did not even report the hit-and-run but he did report a suspicious person in the 7000 block of tunnelton road because some false idiot called and said somebody was waving a gun so that's what they came for not the Dodge truck they ran me over and kill me."
Mr. Newz Responds:
Thank you, Nicole, for reaching out and sharing your experience with our readers. First and foremost, I'm truly sorry to hear about the distressing incident you described—it sounds frightening and frustrating, and no one should have to endure such an ordeal while simply taking a walk in their own neighborhood. Your safety and well-being are paramount, and I hope you've had a chance to seek any necessary medical attention following the event.
At Lawco.news, we take community reports like yours seriously, as they often shine a light on issues that merit further exploration. Your message touches on several sensitive topics, including public commentary on local officials, potential traffic incidents, and law enforcement responses. Regarding Judge John M. Plummer III—whom I believe you may be referring to—we've noted the recent announcement of his indefinite leave from Lawrence County Superior Court I, as reported by local outlets. While speculation about the reasons for his absence has circulated in online discussions, we emphasize that no official details have been released, and it's important to approach such matters with care to avoid unfounded assumptions.
That said, your account of the alleged hit-and-run and the subsequent police interaction raises valid questions about public safety and accountability in our area. Incidents involving vehicles and pedestrians deserve thorough attention, and if you haven't already, I encourage you to file a formal report with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office or Bedford Police Department to ensure it's documented and investigated appropriately. Resources like the Indiana State Police or local victim support services may also be helpful in navigating this.
If you're comfortable providing more details—such as the exact date, time, or any witnesses—we'd be glad to look into this further as part of our commitment to fair and balanced reporting. In the meantime, we'll continue monitoring developments related to Judge Plummer's leave and any related community concerns. Thank you again for trusting us with your story; it's voices like yours that help keep Lawrence County informed and engaged.
