Golden Gables: Late Night Confessions. Andy February 2nd 2025

Andy:

" I had gotten in a fight with my fiance and was sleeping at my best friend's house that I have known since high school. One night I was a little intoxicated and got my friend to drive me over so I could visit my dog. My fiance was a complete b***h about everything during that time. We couldn't stand each other. One thing led to another and I ended up stealing the dog. He was my dog, I bought him and took care of him. I remember wrapping him in my arms and I went THROUGH the screen door like Frankestein. My buddy who was waiting outside didn't miss a beat and already had his Chevy Beretta in drive. We jumped in and were too paranoid to go home.

This was before we all had cellphones so I didn't know how pissed any one was at me and assumed she called the cops or at least her brothers to come after me. We decided to lay low at the Gables and we parked up by the window so I could see the dog in the car. Waiting for the heat to come off felt like an eternity. Neither of us had very much money so we shared a plate of fries and some other sides and each drank waters while passing a bottle of something else under the table!

That wasn't the first or last time I went there when I did something stupid and needed a place to regroup. I've tried Steak and Shake, Denny's. It's just not the same. I feel like those guys would rat on you in a second if they thought you kidnapped a dog and were on the run!"
