Bedford Big Lots did not make the list of 300 'saved' stores.

 

   

Through the end of February 2025 Bedford's Big Lots closeout store will be closing itself out of the space it has occupied for some time.

Everything has a 15% - 20% clearance plus an additional 10% on select items. 

Talking to a Regional Manager, Tim today he stated that they plan on liquidating all remaining loose items and at the closure date anything left will be sent to distribution in Indianapolis as the larger company prepares to shutter 5 of it's 8 mid-western warehouses.

This is a sad loss for the county but not entirely that the store itself is going but that there will be empty retail space in an area that has taken quite awhile to rebound after several major closings in the past. 

What could possibly go in it's place? Has the city had any solid inquiries for possible replacements?

I think it's time to petition for another Gatti Land :D
